pancakes and fire men....

On Saturday we headed down to our local fire hall for a home cooked breakfast made by real life fire men. The pancakes were so good, my mouth is watering right now.

I love the feeling of a close knit community; it's fun to see who lives in your neighborhood and spend time chatting it up.

The kids had a blast playing in the fire truck. What little boy does not dream of this? Here is a picture of Griffin and his good friend Sam hamming it up for the camera.
