I have been struggling with my book club book and I needed to find a quick, cute read. I love reading a book that I can't put down. One that I don't have to think; one that has a happy ending. I found a good one tonight and all I want to do is crawl into bed and read, read, read ~ but need to get some stuff done first.
Hope after I am done with this book (Exclusively Yours) I will be able to pick up my book club book again.

a new one...
Today I started to read another book. I just finished up my book for book club, which I L.O.V.E.D. I can not wait to discuss with the girls and to watch the movie.
I love books.
There was a time that I would buy books to read. I love the feel of the paper. The art work on the cover. But after time, all those books added up to lots of clutter and a smaller bank account. So I started checking them out from the library.
I now find myself holding back to buy books; why spend the money when you can have it for 3 weeks for free??? Anyway, I find myself thinking more and more about buying a Nook. I am not sure why; I have hated those things for some time. Why read a screen when you can hold a book in your hands. But a few months ago the idea started to grow in me. I had one on my Christmas list but my dear, sweat hubby had no idea what it was.
The other day a few friends and I were talking about it. My friend is ready to go purchase one and I can't wait till she does. I want to play with it. I want to hear what she thinks about it. I have visions of having hundreds of books in my purse, all neat and tidy on the Nook. I will have no more clutter; no more piles of books staring at me saying "read me already" (I still have your books Mary - sorry).
Two things are stooping me, 1. i LOVE to read in the bath tub; not sure i have the guts to do that with Nook. 2. What happens if I miss the paper under my fingers????????
Enough about that, I am off to read and to think that this may be the last paper book I read for some time.

my new crack...
I really don't like to buy books. They are expensive and I read a book or two a month. If I bought all of them my house would be full of books I have read. I use my library as often as I can. But I have heard so much about this story that I could not wait for my number to be up so I had to go to Barnes and Noble last weekend and get book #1. I must admit, I was kind of scared, will I like them???? Hello, what was I worried about!
Stephenie is an amazing writer; the love story makes me want to run to Forks and find these people (yes, I know they are not real). I can't seem to put the books down. I ran out and purchased book 2 yesterday, I should have just purchased the rest of them as well. I wish it didn't end at book 4 (maybe it doesn't I will hopefully find out in a week or so).
I totally recommend these books, run to your local book store and pick them up.
