can i move to lynden...

There are times I wished I lived in Lynden.

I love to drive through that town; it is so clean, every ones yards are perfect, no litter, no junk houses. It's a picture of perfection.

I am hating my new neighbors right now. They have been building their house by themselves for over a year. I give them kudos points for doing 99% of the job themselves. The problem is, the house is not done and they moved in over the weekend (not sure how they past inspection).

The siding is not finished - hello, it's rainy season, don't you think you should cover up the wood? They have a pretty steep front porch area and there are no stairs. Zero landscaping, unless you count the huge pile of crap in the middle of the drive way, which forces them to park in our front pad. Since the siding is not all the way on, there is no paint on the house. And they have a HUGE pile of carpet and black trash bags on the front porch - classy!

I am almost to the point of going over there and asking them to move their crap to the back of the house where the neighbors do not have to see it.

I am sure they will fix it, I just hope they keep their house up. I really don't want to look at a dump every day.

If we were in Lynden, this would not be happening.

It's a shame that we can't pick our neighbors. Hang in there...try to bite your tongue. You could be neighbors for 50+ years.
