craft time...

I finally did a craft project ~ thank you Pinterest!!!!

My new obsession is mason jars.  I have some big plans for these cute little jars this summer.  Fingers are crossed the sun will come out and I will have the time to have lots of BBQ's and friend time on my deck.  I do have a back up plan if Mother Nature does not turn the heat up, I have my eye on a outdoor heater.  My deck is one of my favorite places to hang out; if I had a heater I can enjoy it for many more days/nights.

My soul feels good tonight.  I was able to spend some great quality time with my very good friend Tracy, finally got my body moving and did a run today, I am one day closer to getting my car back (i am enjoying my rental car though).

Tomorrow is my Friday; I hope to try a new trail run on Friday after my photo shoots; Easter looks like it may be nice, getting excited to have an egg hunt outside with the boys.  All is great at this moment.

look what i did...

To me, Thanksgiving is the kick off to the Christmas season. This year I made place cards for our dinner guests out of glass ornaments (thanks Sara for picking these up). It was super easy and I love how they turned out. I hope to make some more for our new tree this year, as well as give some as gifts.

back in the blog world...

Man, it's been a while.

I think I am finally coming out of this cold. It hit me hard and took me down for a few days.

One of the best things about not been 100% is you spend a lot of time at home. In my lock down, I was a bit crafty, here are a few things I made:
I have always wanted to get the boys a advent calendar but never found one I fell in love with. Ali Edwards made one similar to this last year so I decided to make one. I put magnets on the back of the boxes and will hang them on the magnetic chalkboard in the kitchen. Just a little something for the boys to have during December.

Ms. Jen made one of these for her home, I saw it on her blog and had to make one for mine. It was so simple (the colors don't come out on the pic) and I made it with stuff around the home. I think it took me 30 mins start to finish. I love this time of year.

Besides those I make about 5 cards for people. Craft time, it so calming.
