welcome to spring...

Man, it's a soggy one out today.

I had to run into the grocery story to pick up 3 items, and by the time I got back to my car, I looked like a drowned rat.

Its the kind of day where you just want to be at home, curled up by the fire with a good book and your pj's on.    I wish I could do that, but I  need to get some edits done.  Thursday afternoons are a little piece of heaven for me.  The kids are gone, I have the house to myself, and a few hours of alone time to edit like crazy.

Right now I am snuggled up in a chair with a blanket around me, I have a candle burning, Ugly Betty playing in the background and the list of photos I want to work on.  Rainy days make it easy to work inside.  Warm, sunny days make me feel like I am missing out.  

Must remember, April showers, bring May flowers (and weeding, mowing the lawn, yard work ~ not fun).

it is still winter....

Technically it's still winter.

Spring starts in a few weeks. I shouldn't be surprised that it's snowing!!!

We have been spoiled the last few days with sunshine. We awoke this morning to the sound of hail hitting our roof. I guess it's one of the perks (If you can call it that) to living here. Hope it passes soon. We have Winterfest at G's school, and I think it's outside.

will it end???...

The snow if finally gone off my road and most of my yard. It has been replaced with rain! We got so much yesterday and last night that the schools are closed due to lots and lots of flooding.

I think the kids will be going to school all summer to make up these snow/rain days.

more white stuff...

It has started to snow again.

We have been under this stuff for a week now. I love it (unless I need to drive) and I hope it stays around till after Christmas. What I don't like is I have a party to go to tomorrow and I don't want to miss it!

The weather man says we are in for another few inches, lets see what morning brings.
