mold, mold go away...

For those of you who live in Bellingham and ever need to hire a company to get rid of your mold. NEVER, I repeat, NEVER hire the Mold Busters.

We hired them over a month ago to complete 3 jobs, one large and two small. When I called for an estimate, the guy was over the same day. His quote was fair so we hired him to start in a week. We were getting close to the start date and I had never heard from him. I called to make sure we were still on. I got a funny feeling from this guy, he was telling me that he was leaving messages. Guess what buddy, you had the wrong number.

Anyway they started when they said they would. They did the attic in two days. They guy they sent over was a bit weird, but he got the job done. That was a Thursday. They were coming back Friday to do a small section under the house and one in the shop; should take about 2 hrs. He called on Friday letting me know that one guy was sick so they could not come till Monday, but if I could pay him. Randy talked to him so he said yes. I wrote him the check and he reassured me that they would be back.

Well, it's been a month. They have not shown up. I have left several messages over the past 2+ weeks. Have they bothered to return my calls? Hell No. Randy phoned them late yesterday afternoon, the mold guy Kevin picked up the phone (Randy called on his cell). He told Randy the job would be completed today. I guess Kevin doesn't like taking calls from my home or work number - bastard.

I get home and guess what, they have not been here. We still have their HUGE blower sitting by our front door (I think I am going to list it on craigs list). So, at 5:20, Randy comes home and I ask him if Kevin has called him back today, nope. I phone Mold Busters and no one answers. At this point I am beyond mad. I leave a very angry message, asking why is he ignoring my messages, why did they not show up, and letting him know that I want some of my money back. I also felt free to tell him this is no way to run a business and that he could pretty much go to hell.

After this post I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Have I mentioned I am pissed.

So please, never hire this so called company to do anything for you!
