weekend happenings...

Today I feel like myself. I was a bit under the weather on Thursday night and Friday. Feels good to feel good.

I was able to go to Barnes and Noble by myself today. What a treat to wonder around looking at all the books with no one tugging at my leg or running off.

I took Griffin to a birthday party for a dear friend tonight. It was great hanging out with just Griffin. When we got into the car and started off, I looked in the back and Griffin had the sadest look on his face. His lips were turned down and tears were welling up in his eyes. I asked him what was wrong and he was sad because Carson was not coming with us. How sweet is that! He loves his brother so much. He had a blast at the party. He was the oldest kid and I think he got a kick out of it. At one point, he was out in the living room telling Penni's sisters Dino stories, they were eating it up. The food at the party was amazing. Penni is Greek and I love the food at her parties. If I was Greek I would be huge - the food is that good.

On a side note, I am loving this America's Next Top Model marathon. It's been on since Thursday!
