We finally got our power resorted sometime around 11:00 last night. Not sure how long we were out but I think it was over 12 hrs. When the kids and I got home yesterday afternoon the temp in the house as 65 - boy that's cold. We turned on the generated as soon as daddy got home. We had two lights and the tv (really, that's all you need!!!!).
Griffin goes crazy when the lights are off. He loves it. Thank goodness Carson didn't seem to mind, in fact he was very happy.
Glad the winds are gone.

Crazy weather yesterday. Lots of blown over fences and our neighbors huge tree broke in half and landed on their roof! Aiden was very impressed!
I spent the day cleaning up glass at my MIL's house in Semiahmoo... a top of a tree smashed through their bedroom and glass flew about 15 feet through thier home, thank goodness they aren't there, they would have been covered in shards of glass and wood! What a mess that storm caused! Our dogs got out, some people found them over halfway down the other side of Barkley Blvd!
