Yesterday we headed up to Harrison Hot Springs to celebrate G's bday. It was perfect. The boys had a blast swimming in the warm/hot water. The air was a bit cold when you got out of the outside pool and ran to the pools inside; but nothing felt so good as being ice cold and then running into the hot water. I felt like I was melting; such an amazing feeling.
We cuddled in our beds, watched movies, read books, slept and just enjoyed being together.
We had cookies and tea in the lobby. We ran the halls and took turns pressing the elevator buttons. We swam till our legs felt like they would fall off and our hands were looking like prunes.
Best parts, Griffin with a smile on his face for two days; laying in the shallow end of the pool, watching the steam rise as the rain hit my face. Pure magic for the soul.
We are home now, laundry is done, tree and all the trimmings are up. Nothing left to do but address the cards tomorrow and start shopping.
