It may be funny just to Randy and I.
Sunday we were all out front doing yard work. Carson finds a very old binky in one of the bushes. It's covered in dirt and just plain gross. He comes running over to me, his face is bright with happiness "look mommy, look!"
I say "The Easter Bunny must have dropped it"
His response "Nope, can you please clean it".
He is looking up at me with his brown eyes, handing the dirty thing to me with so much joy. At this point my heart is breaking. I tell him it's way to dirty to clean and walk over to the garbage can. He is not happy. You can see the light from his face drain out. He crosses his arms, gives me the LOOK, sticks his bottom lip out and yells "I will never sleep again!!!"
Talk about killing your mom with one look. I felt pretty bad but couldn't get the smile off my face, he was so darn cute.
Last night he woke up crying in his sleep again. Well, let me clarify, he was crying while sleeping but woke me up, Randy slept right through it.
3rd time this has happened since his binky's were taken away. That makes me very sad; he cries in his sleep for them - ouch.
