Randy and I are back from an amazing weekend (hope to post pictures soon, ran out of time tonight). It has been way to long since we had a getaway from the kids. A getaway long enough to full charge our batteries and relax. We did nothing but sleep and shop.
We spent WAY to much money but it was so fun buying stuff for us and no one else. I may cry a bit when my credit card bill comes in but it was well worth it. We hope to make this same trip next year to celebrate 12 yrs.
I felt a bit guilty, while we slept in till 9:00 each day, my mom and dad were awake by 5:30 (at the latest) by our little man. Sorry guys, you have the next 12 months to recover before you have to do it again - yes dad, you have to do it again.
The moment I walked in the door, Carson was in my arms. He must have stayed there for a good 15 - 20 mins. I was eating it up, he missed me soooo much, guess I am doing something right! I just looked at him and noticed that he looked so big - could it be possible that he grew that fast in 2 days????
I am one lucky girl. Thanks to Randy for putting up with me all these years (my family feels for you), for my mom and dad for doing this amazing thing for us and for Jim , thanks for taking G all day on a hike. Can life get any better????
Off to bed, this week coming up is going to be crazy.
