We made it to Leavenworth by 12 today.
I love this place. We try to come every year at the end of summer.
The drive over was amazing. I love looking at the vast landscape of the hills, trees and rocks on the pass and drink in their beauty. I am truly blessed to be living in such an wonderful area.
We are just getting on the freeway in town when I realize that I left my alarm on. It will go off at 5:15 tomorrow morning. Randy says "lets leave it" but my mind starts racing and I envision my alarm broken or burning the house down. Yes my mind is crazy.
After we run home we are off. The boys did great and even took a short nap.
The weather is hot - 96! But our room has air conditioning and we are right outside the pool. G, Randy and I spent about 3 hours in the pool while C walked around begging us to go into "the hot springs" aka the hot tub. No way little man.
We just got back from dinner and the boys are out swimming while I get some alone time. Traveling with 3 year old is hard, hard work. I sure hope he is better next year.

I keep telling myself it's going to get easier. Friends with older kids assure me of this too! Have a great time! It's raining here this morning.
