my love tank is full...

What a great day. It was the kind of day that makes me so happy to be a parent. Happy to have a son who is becoming my friend.

Griffin had a field trip to the Mt. Baker Theater today. I meet his class over there and enjoyed a fantastic show. Griffin was so happy and was very eager for me to sit next to him and Sam.

I had made arrangements with his teacher to take Griffin with me after the show (he came on the school bus and had a great time riding it). I wanted to take G out for ice cream. After we helped load the kids on the bus, G took my hand and we were off.

We enjoyed waffle cones at Mallards and played a few games of connect four. G was still hungry so we walked over to La Fiamma (sp??) burger. It was so refreshing to just sit with him, sharing fries and talking about whatever came to us.

The sun was out, the windows were down, the air was fresh. It was perfection. I love that G and I can hang out; comfortable with each other and habby just been together.
