Last night was pretty bad.
I came home from work and Carson was sick (just a cold) but he was miserable. We sat on the couch for a few hours. He would have moments of pure agony (crying and calling my name) to moments of being normal.
By bedtime, he seemed fine; he didn't want to sleep but finally fell asleep around 9:45. At 10:30 the fun started. He woke up screaming. There was nothing I could do for him; he just would cry and scream my name.
I am not the kind of person that can be woken up and be helpful. After a few minutes of laying on the floor with him I finally brought him into bed with Randy and I - making the baby sandwich. We tried to sleep but every few hours C would wake up crying. Around 1:00 I gave him some medicine and that seemed to help him get some rest (I shed some tears, Randy rubbed baby's back). At 4:30 he woke up wanting milk and to play. It's so hard trying to sleep while your baby is moving beside you and talking.
Randy and I are so tired today, and to make matters worse, i am sick now. Hope we can all get to bed at 8:00 tonight.

I hope you didn't catch it from Alanna, she seems to be doing much better now but was quite something last week! Take care and I hope you both feel better soon!
It's not fun having a sick baby...especially when you have to bring them to bed with you. Mine always seem to sleep like angels when they are in bed. I'm the one who ususally ends up on the couch because I can't take all of the moving around they do. Feel better Brethauers. :)
