two years ago....

Two years ago I went to sleep with one child. I woke up at two the next morning on my way to having two kids.

Today is Carson's second birthday. I can not believe he is two! I wish I could re-live every moment of your birth - yes even the pain. It went by so fast. I remember waking up at 2:00 and going to the living room. Waking daddy at 4:00, calling Grandma around 5:00 and getting to the hospital around 6:00.

I remember wanting the drugs but to afraid to get them. I remember the pain trying to push you out. I remember the instant love the moment you were placed on me.

We had a great 1st night. Many visitors, many treats (thanks Heather for that Starbucks run, we never got a chance to chat, but oh, it tasted so good). We came home and our family was complete.

I am blessed to have you in my life. You have taught me more than I have taught you. Please be patient with me, always know that I love you and I will do anything for you my son.
