Last night while I was bathing Griffin he said:
"I like Fran better than...."
He didn't finish; he stopped and looked at me.
I finished it for him
"You like Fran better than mommy?"
"Yes"
"Why" I asked
"Because she plays whatever I want" Gman said
My response, "Because I pay her"
I had him for a while, now he loves someone more than me. My heart is heavy.

You have NOT lost him!!! He will always love you the most. No matter what he says. But I totally hear what you're saying. No matter what they feel, they sure can take the wind out of your sails by what they say sometimes.

Maybe he is preparing you for when he takes a wife. Remember that old saying...
"A son is a son until he takes a wife. A daughter is a daughter the rest of your life."
Sad but true.
Just remember, you are your boys' "first love". They will love you no matter what. You are a terrific mom. You will always be there for them in good times and bad.
Kids say what is on their minds at the time. Sometimes it hurts when they are so "honest". He really loves you most and don't you ever forget that.
