I have been thinking about my good friend Kerri all weekend.
She did the 3 day walk for cancer this weekend in San Diego. I am so proud of her. I so wished I could of joined her for the fun (and the pain). She is walking for her mom Pam who is a breast cancer survivor (you go Pam!!!!).
I saw some of Washington's walk on TV, it was an amazing site. I would love to feel it in person. Be there to witness the tears, the smiles. To be part of the change; to help raise money to find a cure for breast cancer.
I can't wait to talk to you Kerri, to hear what it was like. I am so proud that you did it.

Thanks for the love Becky. I walked a total of 21.3 miles this weekend. It was hard and grueling, but when I saw women our age that were bald walking right next to me, I knew I could go on. It was an amazing walk and I will definately do it again, so hopefully my daughter won't have to worry about this disease. There were 2100 walkers and we raised $5,000,000. The oldest walker was in her 80's and there was even a walker that just surgery last Tuesday. Just an amazing weekend.
