I read an article on MSN today.
Antarctica just received their last shipment before winter hits down there. In that shipment there was a year supply of condoms - the grand total was 16,500. There are 125 scientists left down there for the winter, working day in and day out in complete darkness (no sunshine, no natural light). The condoms will be passed out for free; not much else to do down there I guess.
