a day for dads....

We had a wonderful day celebrating my dad and my great hubby.

I made a pretty yummy breakfast for my main man this morning. While I was cooking, he was sitting out side in the sun with G-man. What a way to start the morning.

We meet my parents at Hovander Park for a picnic. I love that place. It's clean, has huge areas to run around in, animals and a play area. I am not sure who had more fun, the kids or Randy and myself. We all came home dirty and tired. One bonus, we found a place that sold cheap gas (if you can call it that, I am so scared to see what the prices will be in a month). The Gull station in Ferndale is at 4.29 (bet 4.49 in Bellingham).

I was cursing the whole time I was filling up. My god, I better get the bike out. Now that I don't have to pick kids up after work, I may have to bike my lazy ass every day. I can just see myself, having my skirt hiked up to my wait, praying that my sandals don't fall off and that I don't get helmet hair.

Oh, I almost forgot, it got over 70 today (can you feel summer????).
