Tonight I took the time to sit down and just stare at my kids. What an awesome experience.
Griffin was drawing (I swear that is all he does now, I LOVE it, we come home with a stack of dino pictures from school every day).
I just stood there and looked at his hand as it drew the trees, grass, waterfalll. I wonder what those hands will be doing in 30 years. What life expereinces will be etched in each line on the skin.
My eyes wonder to his face and my heart skips a beat while I watch his face with such determination; his perfect pink lips parted a bit as he consintrates on what dino he is drawing.
He takes my breath away.
It's moments like this that definds motherhood for me.
