happy easter...

I hope everyone had a great holiday. We had a fun packed weekend.

Yesterday we headed over to the Boyle's for their annual Easter egg hunt. The weather was perfect (a bit cold though); the kids had fun. Nothing beats an egg hunt in the park followed by food, games and fun. Last night we colored eggs - it's our tradition to color eggs the night before Easter. We had such a blast.

Carson thought the eggs were balls. I gave him one to play with. First he tired to put it in this mouth, then he decided to throw it on the ground to see how it would bounce, not very well.

Today, Griffin ran into our room at 7:00 am! Not bad, but I could of used another hour to sleep. We woke Carson up and enjoyed the Easter Baskets and then a egg hunt this afternoon. I usually do the egg hunt in the morning, but Randy got out of bed and started his day before I had a chance to hide the eggs - thus Griffin noticed the baskets BEFORE the eggs were hidden - oops. Oh well, he didn't seem to mind that the Easter Bunny was coming back to hide the eggs in the afternoon. I love this age, no questions asked!

I think the kids and I have had enough sugar to last us the rest of the year. I did bring out Griffin's children's bible to read to him so he understands the true meaning of Easter. I hope some of it sunk in, guess I better get him enrolled in Sunday school.

Happy Easter everyone!!!!!
