We all do our best, and strive to do a little bit more, go that extra mile, make them proud of us.
But there are times when you need a little bit of help. This morning I just wanted to get the b'fast dishes done. So I did what any perfect mom does, put in an video (at least it was an educational one) and plop the kid down in front of it.
I hope years to come, Carson's brain is not wasted away, that he does not become a mass murder, or can't function in the real world.
I know I am not the only mother that does this, so please don't judge me to harsh - we all do it right??????

I'm guilty! I swore we would never use TV as a babysitter - whatever! Everyone needs a distraction once in awhile. As long as my kids aren't watching blood and guts, they are fine!
T.V. can be very educational. Afterall...Noah saw a chia pet and just had to have one....He got lucky. Santa brought him the scooby doo chia pet.
I don't know what you're talking about... the experts say that children shouldn't watch ANY T.V until age 2! ha ha. So the dishes have been piling up and I haven't had a shower in 2 years! I'd like to have a little chat with those "experts". They probably leave their kids with a nanny 60 hours a week, so they can work out, shower and have "down time". I think we're entitled let our kids veg out for 30 minutes!
