i finally post our christmas....

Yes, you read right, I am finally posting about Christmas (beware, pictures are not that good, had to use a flash)!

It was a great one! I am out of the baby zombie stage so I was able to enjoy myself this year. Griffin slept in till 7:00, than wondered his way into our bedroom. The mean mom that I am, I would not get up, so he crawled in bed with dad and I so we could sleep some more. I think we finally got up around 8:00. I ran to the kitchen to put in the cinnamon rolls than headed to the living room. While Griffin and I were waiting for dad, Griffin starts telling me a great little story.
Seems he woke up in the middle of the night and came out to the living room. He saw Santa putting presents under the tree, so we watched him from around the corner. He even showed me where he stood and watched, it was so cute.
Here is Carson and Griffin on Christmas morning. Carson is so happy to watch his brother open the presents. Griffin was good to let him try when he wanted to.

Santa brought Carson a new Baby Einstein video. The kids loves his music.

Grandma and Grandpa Motorhome (aka My Parents) gave Griffin this cool rug. He loves it and ran to his room to put in on the floor as soon as I took this picture.

I couldn't resist taking a picture of Caron's stocking. I love these little crayons. Santa knew the right things to bring. Boy, that guy is smart.

After presents we ate warm, gooey buns and played for a while. Around 1:00 we headed to Randy's grandparents for some turkey and fun family times (I use this term lightly). In the early evening we were invited over to my good friend Elizabeth's for Christmas dinner. It was so nice to be there. Family is great, but nothing beats hanging out with your closest friends, sharing yummy food and letting the kids run till they drop.

I hope we can make that a new yearly tradition - hanging out with friends. The food was amazing, the conversation was great.

I tend to loose sight of what Christmas is really about while I am in the middle of it. I hope I can raise my kids to understand the true meaning of Christmas (the birth of Jesus, giving back to other, etc.). I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas like my family and I did. Only 360 some odd days left till we can do it again.
