happy birthday to me...

Long post - sorry!

Today was my birthday. I love me birthday. I took the day off and sent the kids away and did what I have wanted to do for the past month - clean out my closet. Doesn't sound like much fun but this is what I needed. I have felt a bit off lately and I think it stems from all the clutter in our house. I am trying to rid myself of it and it feel pretty darn good. My garbage can is full, can't believe I filled it today.

My day started off with a great workout at 6:30; I was home by 7:45 just in time to start my project. I can't believe I am going to show you this picture, this is what my closet looked like this morning. I have to say, this may be one of my most embarrassing moment:

I figured it would only take me a few hours to complete, but by 2:00 I still wasn't done (and I only took a 10 minute break to eat lunch!). I had to stop and jump in the shower so I could go pick up my kids. After dinner (I choose Boomers!!!!!) Randy helped me finish the last few things left. I still have to label my containers and install a light, but so far I love how it turned out. Hope we can keep it up.

Randy brought home a yummy chocolate cake for me. We gave Carson some ice cream, he didn't know what to do with it. It was funny to see him make silly faces when he tried to put in into his mouth. Randy couldn't find any regular candles so he used Carson's birthday one. Griffin kept asking why there was a "1" on my cake.

My birthday was perfect. Thanks to all who made me feel so very special today! Love you all.
